About

Hello there! I’m Nora, a seasoned product designer that enjoys solving complex problems and creating researched-backed user experiences from the ground up. My UX education started with completing Designation’s UX/UI design immersive in 2014 and continued with creating my own UX design-focused degree at The New School/Parsons School of Design. I’ve since spent time on design teams at Oracle, Claire’s, IBM, and the U.S. Department of State.

Originally from Chicago, I’ve had the chance to live all over the U.S. and world including a year studying Mandarin Chinese in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, a semester of college spent traveling around the world by boat, four months living in Latin America (Peru, Colombia, Guatemala, and Mexico), and most recently a summer spent biking across the U.S. to advocate and raise funds for affordable housing with Bike & Build.

When I’m not designing software you can find me dabbling in more hands-on creative pursuits (printmaking, ceramics, and embroidery to name a few), biking pretty much everywhere, or kicking back with a good book.
